I don't want random files or last additions to be seen on the index page - how do I get rid of them?

thanks

people just aren't getting this logging in thing - they see the random and latest files and say they aren't the right pictures.

I need the index page to be basically the log in page then go to the gallery the user is allowed to see as soon as they log in - can this be done?

Turn the meta albums that you don't want off in coppermine's config. Has been asked many times over. Please read the documentation and search the forum before posting.

Seems to me that if you do not enable guest access, there will be nothing showing on the 'home' page except for the login screen...Frmo what I recall either way...

thanks for your reply. Sorry to ask dumb questions, but I did read that part of the manual earlier and didn't get what it was saying at all.

If the question's needed to be asked many times, then might I suggest that part of the config page wording needs changing to make it more obvious?

I needed guest access for a portfolio, and when logged in, people could view the portfolio and their album only. It's done now though, thanks.

You're welcome to come up with a suggestions for a better wording.
