Why does the total views decline when an album has been deleted or is there a way to retain the total views when album has been deleted?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

If you delete an album, then you delete the pics in that album including all the info from the db as well. The hits are stored in the pictures table. And, as said, that info gets deleted.
