Greetings,

My Gallery is bridged (if that is germane) and the Member List is not displaying. I've combed the settings several times yet see nothing that would preclude this from showing.

Thanks!

Lyman

My error - sorry.

I have in fact enabled the ability of Users to view the Member List...nothing is displaying.

Thanks,

Lyman

Not a feature when Coppermine is bridged, as Coppermine doesn't have a memberlist of it's own in that case and needs to rely on your BBS. The BBS you have bridged with needs to have a feature to display a memberlist. If it does, your users can access it using the navigation of your BBS.

If this answer is insufficient: as usual, it is almost mandatory to post a link to your coppermine-driven gallery. You should by now have found out that we keep on asking for it. In your special case, a screenshot (attach it to your posting using "additional options") might help as well.

Your question is not related to installing in the first place, that's why it got moved. In the future, post within the sub-board that deals with your issue.

I can setup an account. Admin privs for just that of a Registered User?

From the docs, though:

As a result, you will not have this user control panel; clicking the "users" link will send you to your bridge application's user management instead."

(Taken from this paragraph in it's entirety: "The user control panel can be found when clicking "users" from the admin menu. It is the place where you create and manage your users.

If you have enabled integration (bridging) Coppermine with another application (e.g. your favorite BBS app), Coppermine will use the member table of the application you bridged with (your BBS), so the built-in Coppermine user management will be disabled in favor of the user management that comes with the bridged application. This has been incorporated to eliminate redundancy and facilitate a seemless integration.

As a result, you will not have this user control panel; clicking the "users" link will send you to your bridge application's user management instead.")

Thanks,

Lyman

huh? :o
What are you talking about. Please use more words and re-phrase. English is not my first language, please keep that in mind.

Quoting the docs to me is not necessary; I know what is in it. The memberlist link (the one you initially posted about) is being discussed in another section of the docs (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_user_memberlist). It differs from what is being discussed in the bridging section of the docs.

What about my other suggestions:

Is there any particular reason for ignoring my suggestions completely? Are you doing this on purpose just for the sake of behaving confrontational?

Anyway, I'm not willing to look into your issues any longer, as you don't do as suggested. This thread is open for another possible taker - I'm out of it.

Actually, it never dawned on me that English is not your first language. Seriously.

But please remember that Coppermine is not my forte, either. It's a learning curve.  :)

Thanks anyway for your help, it is appreciated!
