How to use album_keyword feature with different album visibility

Hi,

I have question about using the "album_keyword" feature, i.e: displaying same file
in multiple albums.

I have an album where the original file/image resides, whose album visibility is
set to "Me Only". I want to create a separate albums, where I can link/show
some of the same file/images using the "keyword/link" feature, but I want
the new album to have "Public" visibility.

I've tried doing all the required step to do the linking, but I noticed that
the visibility of the linked images on the new albums was derived from
the original albums, i.e: "Me Only". That is, when I view the new album
as unlogged/unregistered user, the thumbnail won't show up.

Has anyone done this before? Any help is greatly appreciated.
