Hello,

Just downloaded Coppermine Looks fantastic! Is it possible to remove the register and login functions but keep the uploader so any one can upload and you dont need to register? The reason for this is that if i put it on my website it would be a hassel to have two usernames and passwords to enter as you already need to register for my website.

Also, would it work on a server with GD and not Image Magick?

Thanks,

Or is it possible to let the script read the list of usernames and passwords on an existing database? this would be better for me.

One question per thread in future please.

You need GD or ImageMagick.
You can disable registration in config and allow anonymous uploading on the groups page and album properties.
You can make Coppermine use an existing user management system if itis a known and supported application or you are a coder.

Ok, so i have a mysql databse with usernames and passwords, which file would i edit to read this database and not the coppermine for loging in?

Make a copy of one of the existing bridge files and modify it to use your existing login system. Then run the bridge manager. Again, this only applies if you know php.

And if i changed this, would i lose the user gallerys, commenting and selecting it as a favourite etc.?

Enough! Read the documentation before asking even more questions. Your initial question was solved, and you have been told about the "one question per thread" policy already. Marking thread as "solved" and locking it.
