I'm using ImageMagick and 1.4.10. Error message: file could not be placed.
Is it possible to fix it? As I remember, in 1.3.5 it worked.

Then upgrade - most recent stable release is cpg1.4.12, upgrading is mandatory!

If you have upload issues, do exactly as suggested in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs.

Then don't use brackets in the first place - they are forbidden chars for use on the internet. If you must use them, add the brackets to the list of "Characters forbidden in filenames".
