Okay, I'm re-writing this in order not to confuse.  I initially started my post here because I thought it was a bridging problem, but now I am thinking it is an install problem I am having.

BRIDGING: Log into Coppermine --> directed to phpBB log-in --> log-in --> http://thecomiccrypt.com/photos/

When viewing http://thecomiccrypt.com/photos/ this link shows my parent directory instead of my gallery.  I have to scroll down and click on index.php to get to the gallery.  This makes me think the bridging is not working, however....

When I installed Coppermine today via Fantastico from my cPanel it said...
Public URL: http://thecomiccrypt.com/photos/
Admin URL: http://thecomiccrypt.com/photos/

I clicked on the link and got the parent directory so, now I am thinking I don't have a bridge error it may be install error.  Could be both I don't know so I am going to leave my post here, feel free to move it if need be.  Thank you and I hope I explained it well.

Coppermine install: http://thecomiccrypt.com/photos/index.php
Forum install: http://thecomiccrypt.com/
Coppermine version: Coppermine version: 1.4.10
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.22
Test user account: user ID: Coppermine / password: test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://thecomiccrypt.com
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/preifx: phpBB2_forum

Unable to replicate - redirection works as expected for me.
Upgrade Coppermine, most recent version is cpg1.4.12. Don't use auto-installers like Fantastico - only supported method is the one we describe in our docs.

Oh...I didn't know that, too late for install, but I will do the upgrade manually and not use Fantastico from here on out.

I had to add index.php to the directory index so that wasn't a Coppermine or Bridge issue, but I am glad I found out not to use Fantastico and I needed to upgrade.

I'll look for the upgrade on your site.

Thank you
