Hello.

I'm using Coppermine locally with Wamp5 web server.
Quite often, I cannot see a picture or only part of it.
When this occur, I can also have no more acces to any other pictures / thumbnails.
I have to stop wamp 5 services; when I restart them, only one restarts, then I stop wamp 5 services again, restart them -> services OK.
And I can access my pictures again.

I cannot find any error in apache, php or mysql logs (to be sure I've cleared them before getting a new freeze)

I've tried with wamp installed on two different computers -> same problem (one under Xp home, the second Xp pro)
As I had easyphp installed, I've deleted ALL files remaining after easyphp deinstallation. (Red on a topic within this forum)
And I've deleted few easyphp keys in registry, restarted my computers -> same problem

Coppermine use was worse with easy php, it's the reason why I moved to wamp5 (latest version)

When I had few pictures, it seemed to work quite well, but I've got tousands of pictures, full sized up to 8 mb per picture.

To end with this topic if I keep my Firefox or IE7 window open with a black square instead of my preview and restart services as mentioned above, I refresh my page and picture appears.

It seems apache cannot access a file (very often) then freezes.

Has someone had this problem ?

Sorry for my poor english but ... I'm not English

I forgot to say I also tried coppermine debug mode.
Coppermine debug mode does not help as page is still loading when problem occurs, I have to stop it's loading.
So I never get an error from debug mode.

Problem is solved:

On both browsers, I increased cache size in options and deleted temporary files in that cache. (ccleaner)
Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 : no more problems

Firefox 2.0.0.6: problem remains.
I have  red many topics saying diaporama does not work with Firefox.
Same problem on my new computer, so nobody can say it's windows is corrupted. (it is just "windows updated")
I have tried to deactivate firewall : firefox still has problems.

So I renamed index.php from coppermine to index2.php and wrote a new one that cheks if IE or Firefox is running .
If IE -> index2.php runs
If Firefox: warning message asking to use Internet Explorer.

Anyhow, as I prefer Firefox, if someone knows what to do ...

I think this kind of problem should be pinned and mentionned in both documentation and official Faq.
