I started uploading pictures to my gallery yesterday using XP Web Publishing and had no trouble.   Today, I started uploading some larger files ~2MB, and the first time it only uploaded 17 out of the 20.   Now it's refusing to upload any pictures at all.   It will create a new album name, but will not upload photos.  I checked the Documentation and changed all the recommended settings before posting here, and now I can upload a picture from the gallery page one at a time.  This is a pain when I'm trying to upload 100s of pictures.   I tried changing the file settings thinking that was the problem, but no help.   So far I have max size for upload as 3000KB, and max width/height also at 3000.    As I have no programming skills whatsoever, I am at a loss.

Here is the link to the gallery:  http://www.blueduckchemist.com/behrents/coppermine

I have also done as the Doc's suggested and created a test user account, with Username: Tester and Password: password.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thankyou.

I'd also like to add as well that I do not get any error messages.

http uploads work as expected (see http://blueduckchemist.com/behrents/coppermine/displayimage.php?pos=-143). Can't test XP Plublisher, as I don't have Windows XP.
You're running cpg1.4.10, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.12. It's mandatory to upgrade (may or may not solve your issues).

I'm using the coppermine gallery that came with Metropolis on my godaddy.com account.   I will definitely send them an email about upgrading to the latest version.

Could someone with XP, please help me out here.  This is very frustrating.   XP Publisher worked when the files were a lot smaller, but now it is not working at all.   I know I'm not very knowledgeable about programming so even when I searched the forums, much of it did not make sense.

Someone?

Don't!
Don't use auto-installers in the first place, don't use them to upgrade, don't make your webhost perform an upgrade. The only supported and recommended install/uprade method is the one we describe in our documentation, where it is your responsibility to perform the upgrade.

Delete and re-apply the registry key. Make sure to use IE to log in.

You don't need to be a coder.

The registry key you are talking about is the one I downloaded correct?   I tried earlier to reinstall it, well I reinstalled another copy.   I didn't know how to delete the first one, but I'll try google-ing that.   But I wanted to make sure that was what you were talking about.  I had previously used Firefox to login.

I will try this tomorrow and post back.

Thanks :)

And as a side note, I did try to read the documentation for the upgrade when you mentioned using 1.4.12 and it honestly didn't make much sense to me.  It's not step by step instructions, and it does take for granted that there I things I do not know how to do.
