Hello everyone,

I know Coppermine still doesn't support multi-files uploading, but I wanted to know if I could make something to overwrite this "problem".

Is there any way to post all the images in an album and then make it available for my visitors, instead of letting them see the album while I'm sending the pictures?

Thanks,

Multi-uploads are soon to be supported.  :)

It sounds like you want a blocking feature to prevent visitors from viewing albums 'in progress'?

If so, just set the album permission to a group other than your target group.  They will not have access until you change it back.

That's exactly what I want, hyperion. I need to make the "progress albums" only viewable and editable by the administrator (me). How do I do it?

Change the album properties.  Click on the properties button next to the album thumbnail, then just change 'Album can be viewed by' to members of the admin group.

Note, this box is not available if 'can have private album' is set to no in config.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Oh! That's why I couldn't find it... why can't I set the option for users not to have private albums and restrict viewing an album for a specific group at the same time?

Hmm... I still can't find the option even though I set the option for users to have their personal gallery.

Make sure you are setting the permissions correctly.

it is  in config, you have to turn on 'users can have private albums'

it is not in groups.  You can still not allow anyone to have albums here, by setting 'can have personnal album' to NO for each group, except admin.

Oh, I see! Thanks a lot, casper.
