How do I go about making a pm link that shows the amount of pms if they have new ones on the index itself?

My site is www.bodyarttalk.com

read the announcement thread

and allow some time to answer... maybe even several days

QuoteLogin form on top of the page (default off)
Config->Themes settings
This login form will be visible below the top menu if you enable it in config (config->Language, Themes & Charset settings ). If you have the buddy list enabled logged in users will see buddy quick stats (eg. Friends: 3 request, active 15). Otherwise users just see a 'Welcome back USERNAME'... use it only when you haven't a bridged coppermine

Additional info when logged in (default off)
Config -> Performance settings -> Display buddy status info when logged in, Display pm status info when logged in
displays additional info when a user's logged in, PM info only when you don't use a bridged coppermine

I think I got it that was a plugin made by you for a user login correct? I uninstalled it earlier because I had to many logins then switched to this theme after modifing it.

I got a username welcome now...are you sayingg it will show messages there?

lobosden

nope after testing there is still no sign of pms...not sure you can make out whos online either.

lobosden

just checked it out, can't see buddies online either.

I found the problem, I used the plugin Login box.... then deleted the code  {LOGIN_FORM}  from my index html

so I switched back and all is well. Thank you for your help.
