The thumbnails for categories shows, but not the thumbnails for albums.
I would like it otherwise, just as the MacOSX has.
No thumbnails for categories, and thumbnails för albums.
Any ideas what to change in the theme?

OK, so you did part of what I suggested in the announcement thread for the theme "chaotic sould":

start a new thread of your own on the support board, posting a link to your gallery and this your posting on this thread.
However, I can't find the link to your coppermine-driven gallery.

Oh, sorry, but i havn't changed it into Chaotic Soul because I would like so solve this at first.
Anyway, this is the adress: http://www.hundfoto.net/cpg1410/index.php

1) You're running cpg1.4.10. Most recent version currently is cpg1.4.13. Upgrade!

2) Link to your gallery using the chaotic sould theme is http://www.hundfoto.net/cpg1410/?theme=chaoticsoul
You can savely fix your theme (accessing it using the link I posted), while the visitors of your gallery will still see your gallery using your default theme. To go back to the default, unset the theme selection by going to http://www.hundfoto.net/cpg1410/?theme=xxx

3) Accessing your site using your default theme you can easily see that you haven't set category thumbnails at all, so they won't be displayed in any theme. The category thumbnail is theme-independant. Go to your category manager, select one category by one and assign a category thumbnail to it as suggested in the documentation.

1. Ok, i will!

2. Oh, I did'nt know. Great!

3. I do not wan't category thumbnails, I want the category just in text and then the albums with thumbnails under it. Just as it is in MacOSX theme. So you directly can click on the right album. Is it possible?

The announcement thread for "ChaoticSouls" explains that the theme overrides some config settings:
Quote from: Gizmo on December 30, 2006, 03:39:50 PMI've overwritten some of the configuration settings by using variables in the theme.php file and added a new variable for retrieving the album description (see below for more!). The reason for this is to prevent the standard settings in the Configuration tables set by you from "breaking" the theme. These changes are:

// These parameters overide what the user inputs in the Configuration setup to prevent the theme from breaking.
[...]
$CONFIG['first_level'] = 0; //sets "Show first level album thumbnails in categories = no".

Subsequently, to stop the theme overriding your config setting, edit themes/chaoticsoul/theme.php, find$CONFIG['first_level'] = 0; //sets "Show first level album thumbnails in categories = no".and replace with// $CONFIG['first_level'] = 0; //sets "Show first level album thumbnails in categories = no". // Uncommented by hundfotoHowever, I'm not sure if this work as expected: Gizmo says that he is overriding this to avoid the theme design being broken, so there it is likely that your changes will result in the theme not working as expected. If this is the case, then the theme "ChaoticSoul" just is not the proper theme for you.

Oh, it's working!!!! Thanks a lot!
Now I will try to upgrade =)
