Bridging doesn't take care of integrating coppermine visually into your board, but only logically by tying the user authentification and management to the app you bridge with. Coppermine in itself is a standalone app that can't be fully integrated visually into another app page like phpBB if you want genuine integration (using includes). However, you can integrate it using iframes technology. You better ask for details on the phpBB forums how to accomplish this.

thank you for your reply. actually what i need is something that reminds users to check the gallery. having the gallery under the nose would be the best solution, but if that is not possible then also a text wich on login says something like "there are XX new images in the gallery!" would be ok.is there such a function in the gallery?

thank you

Why don't you just add a link to your gallery to the navigation of your forum? Adding content taken from coppermine to the output of another app (phpBB in your case) would reuire editing the code of the third party app, not the code of coppermine. Hence we can't help you much with this. There is a mod board dedicated to content syndication - browse it to find a possible hack that might accomplish what you're up to. Generally speaking though, you should do as I suggested initially: search the phpBB support board, not ours. As this would require editing the code of an app that we're not familiar with, we can't help you much with this. That's why I marked this thread as "invalid".

Not a valid feature request either (that's where you initially started your thread).

ok thank you!

one thing wich is definetly on coppermine side.. :) if i load the page (index.php) inside a frame, after one second it loads instead of the page wich contains the frame. i mean first it loads in the frame, but after a moment it is loaded in the main page. this happens only with the index.php, not with the admin.php...

what is this caused from?

thank you

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. Do so in the future.

If have no idea what you're refering to. Post a link to the frameset and a deep link to the coppermine gallery for a start. Do so in a new thread. Locking this one.
