I'm sure thsi has happened to so many people, and it's probably so easy, but coppermine isn't letting me access my gallery at all.  It's something with my SQL, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

this is the error message I get.

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'vivan3'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:  I found this same discussion on another thread, however, i still can't figure it out.  I found the config.php folder on my host site and when I go in to edit it it says:

$redirect = "admin.php";
$message = <<< EOT
You are trying to access Coppermine's <a href="admin.php">config page</a> using an outdated link - the file config.php has been renamed to admin.php. You probably updated your site and haven't changed your theme as suggested in the <a href="docs/theme/">theme upgrade guide</a>.<br />
You are now being redirected to the actual page you were looking for.

How do I know what the outdated link is and how can I change it?

You're not supposed to look at http://yoursite.tld/your_coppermine_folder/config.php, but http://yoursite.tld/your_coppermine_folder/include/config.inc.php - I'm sure that this has been mentioned in the other thread as well.

err, yeah i got it before your comment, thanks anyway

Then you should have resolved your thread. Would have saved me a couple of minutes needed to type my answer. Marking thread as "solved".
