Problems uploading!

I had no problems uploading any images up until today!

It's doing it with both url/local system uploads.

I select my files, push upload.

i get to the sucessful uploads page and it says:

# uploads sucessful, Please click 'Continue' to add the files to the albums.

I click continue..

I get to the select album screen the image preview shows a red x instead of the image.. i select an album click continue..
and then I get

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

Does anyone know what's wrong? Can someone help me?

Do exactly as suggested in the upload troublesooting section of the docs (number of file upload fields=1, number of URI upload fields = 0)

Alright, I did that..and I got this message..

Critical error
The file 'albums/userpics/bill.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image

Help?

I changed the resizing option from imagemagik to gd 2.x and now it works!
