lightbox slideshow with coppermine mod question

Hi,

I've recently installed Coppermine and it is working beautifully on my system,  thank you all.  I have installed the cool script lightbox to show a slideshow of my images.  what I would like to do is to click on the thumbnail of an album or/and click on any of containing thumbnails to launch my lightbox slideshow.  I have seen a couple of threads on this & I've got mighty confused reading this one http://coppermine-gallery.com/forum/index.php?topic=35539.0

Is what I'm asking possible

ps I'm not interested in the the rating or comment functions,  but the database & theme spec of Coppermine are perfect for me.
