Random Image for Album Thumbnail.....

I understand that if you don't specify an image for an albums thumbnail, a random image will be chosen.  That seems to work fine when I go to a category and browse the albums - they are random images. However, on the homepage, albums showns (such as last updated albums) all use the first image in the album, rather than a random image.  Is there a way to have the random image for an album also used when showing an album list using last updated on the main page?

There is no feature in cpg1.4.x (will be in cpg1.5.x though) to display a random image. By default, it displays the last uploaded imge instead.
