Trying to link Gallery and Forum (not Bridging) difficulties

Hi

I have a gallery that i setup earlier this year http://www.cosplaytoday.com/ and a week or two ago i decided to setup a forum and place a link from the gallery to the forum.

Im not using the Bridging feature as the gallery was already setup and im happy enough to do it this way.

My difficulties are when i want to place the link on the above gallery to the forum, what i do is save the source in firefox edit the template.html file from the themes folder with a link in place, for example with a link next to the Login link on my gallery.

Then i upload the template file.

The result i end up with though is like a copy of my homepage and it stretches the page, so i see what you do when you visit it, but above that is part of the page duplicated.

Update your gallery.

Always read the manual before editing code - there is a config option called 'custom link' you can use.
