Batch add hangs on goDaddy with 3000+ files

Is there a reason Coppermine hangs when I try to add 3000+ files to an album during a batch add?

Is there a better way to do this?

Actually, it's not coppermine that hangs, but your webserver. Every webserver has a limit. You might try the MassImport plugin.
