I have created thumbnails for my mpg videos and uploaded them but they are not showing. The ones I made for wmv are showing fine. Instead of showing the thumbnail I made for the mpg it show the default mpg thumbnail.

Example:

I have a video called 2007-12-20_LightSwitch.mpg and I made a thumbnail that is 100x75 and named it thumb_2007-12-20_LightSwitch.jpg and uploaded both in the same folder. Then I batch add it. I can see the video but not the thumbnail.

Is there a way to make the thumbnails I made work?

I am using Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.10.

Update your gallery and post a link to the album with the video.

I know it's been awhile since I posted this but I still have the problem. I have updated to 1.4.18 and still have the problem. CPGFetch has no problems showing my thumbnails correctly. If I post a link to the album you won't be able to access since it's password protected and there is no longer a login (it's all through Wordpress).

So I created a test gallery. I have uploaded some videos (avi, mov, mpg, and wmv) and have the same thumbnail issue. It shows thumbnails for all but the mpg videos.

Thanks for any help,

Don't use capital letters in the filename extension.

Thank you! That was it. Sometimes the simplest things that cause problems.
