but I need to do it  :-[

I have installed Coppermine - it had previously worked fine....

NOW something has changed and no-one can upload.  I un-installed it and then put it back in.  I checked the Groups thing and changed them as suggested, all the permissions are 755 as told in the documentation.

Today I got a message

"could not create write file" or something along those lines - check your documentation for that and contacted the host who said the permissions are fine

SO PLEAAASE!! Help me.

This is driving my insane - especially considering it WAS working fine when I first put it in :(

WOOOOHOOOOOO I got it.  Not as dumb as I thought!!!

I just changed the Permissions from 755 to 777 for the files that were showing the error!!

OMG - And  I am female, Now WHAT does that tell ya!!!
