hi
love coppermine, thanks for developing a great package. anyway, i got this error after i upgraded:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/sites/home-decor-n-more.co.uk/public_html/photo-gallery/versioncheck.php on line 5388

what should i do?

thank u

Joachim Müller

Then the file is corrupt. Re-upload a clean copy.
Related to upgrading, not to initial install - moving accordingly.

thanks for that, have now done the upgrade and version check all seems fine,  but im confused about something, the instructions said not to overwrite, anycontent.php, but when i did this the version check said that an old version of that file was in the database and it should be upgraded, which i did. i still have the older version backed up. is everything as it should be now?

Joachim Müller

Well, if you preserve the older version of that file, it's little surprise that versioncheck displaying it as being old. It's safe to ignore that. Has been asked and answered many times over already. In the future please search before asking and respect our "one question per thread" policy. Initial issue solved, marking thread accordingly.
