Please give more details.

what version of coppermine?
What is the full error message?
What exactly were you doing, uploading by html, or batch adding?

A link will help, as will a test user account, with upload permissions.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

hi!
Sorry,.. i'm a real newbie-dummy !!

It's the newest release of coppermine.. and just installed it yesterday.
I've installed it and then I log in.. That goes perfect.
Then.. I wanted to upload photos.
So I created an album.. and then clicked "Upload Files"
And then I wanted to upload a photo.
Then the full error adress in my browser was:

"Impossible to move!"
That was the error but it was in my copperminescreen. so it wasn't like a 404-error or something.
Hope you can help me now :$?

If by newest release, you mean 1.3beta, then there was a problem with the upload.php, which caused this to happen, but it has been fixed with a new upload.php which can be got from the cvs.

This is a beta release, for testing by experienced users, and as yet there is no support.

If it is version 1.2.1 (the latest recommended stable release for newbies), then please turn on debug mode in config, try to upload again, and post the FULL error message here, along with the debug output.

Go to the config page, find this 'Accepted file extensions for uploaded pictures', and make sure these are shown in the box,GIF/PNG/JPG/JPEG/TIF/TIFF

I have answered this in the thread you started on this.  You edited your last post here after I had read it, and therefore I missed it.  Please do not ask questions by editing posts.  Also, if the question is on the same topic as the thread, post on the thread, if not, find one that applies to the question, or start a new thread if you can't find the answer.

edit off topic.  Your home page is broken in IE6 if not viewing full page /OT

I'm very sorry !!
I'll post it up here then..

I'm not using the beta.. I was using it first but then it was you who told me that's not the right version for me to use. So now it's 1.2.1 I'm using..

Well the first problem I'm coming up with is.. that I got the errormessage of the extention problem..
I got exactly this error:

QuoteOnly files with the following extensions are accepted :

.

So through the site it doesn't seem to work.. the uploading thing.
So that's why I tried that Xp-program. It all went great except that failure I told you before.

Very sorry again and hope you can help!

No, we'll keep it on this thread, as the other thread is about xp_publisher.

Please give a link to your gallery, with a test user login and password, with upload rights.

edit, mergered with other thread, not the one mentioned above.

If you are using imagemagick, you also need to specify the 'Allowed image types (only valid for ImageMagick)', same as above, i.e., JPG/GIF/PNG/TIFF

actually i found my problem and it's wokring now.
I'm not using Image Magick so that's not the problem.

Where I was wrong?
In the beginning (yesterday) I downloaded the beta version 1.3.1 orso and then I put something wrong in the "table_prefix".

First there was cpg11d_ but that didn't work (we thought) so I changed it.
But not it wasn't working with the old , newbee version. So I took a look around the files and thought: Why not change it to the old cpg11d_
And there it was.. working and all..

Aww Casper I love you sooooooo much :)! !!!!
