[solved]: Elemenating Space between search text input and search submit button

I tried to edit the Search.php , but no result was seen , please help me eliminate the space between the input text and submit button

Edit search.php, find

A <br />-tag would mean a line-break, so I would not have expected a new line.
A space char in a line (and that's what is in the code the way it is by default) is being interpreted as space in HTML as well. The only difference is that several space chars in a row don't result in several spaces in the browser's rendering, but only in one space. That's why it's safe to use line indentation for making the code more readable, with the drawback that the new lines in the code always mean one space in the rendered output. That's basic HTML.
