Hi! I've downloaded and installed Coppermine (it's so easy... thanks!)
But now I've a little question...
I want to set up Coppermine and allow any registered user to create public albums and upload images without approval in these albums... how can I do this? I've looked into configuration area, but I only found the way to create albums (as admin), and allow registered users to upload images for each album.  This has to be done for every album in public categories :(
I don't want users to have private albums... just a few public categories, in which users could create albums and anyone could share his photos.

Thanks!

Unfortunately there is no way for users to add albums to the public categories. (there was a mod published yesterday that allows a 'moderator group' to do this, without the config powers, if that is what you want).

You can use the private galleries, but make them visible to all by turning off 'users can have private albums' in config.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thanks a lot... I'll try it.

Anyway, I'll post a new topic on "Feature requests". Maybe other users also need this feature and they don't really know yet :D

Can you put a link to where this mod is?  Or maybe the name of the file.  I can't seem to find it.
