Hi

I know, read the manuals. But I have the problem that deleting all original images returns the message that these images can't be found.
But they are still there. Obviously I could delete them individually. But there are too many for my taste to do that.

So I deleted them in my album's directory with my ftp program. Worked. the files are gone.
But they are still in the album.
So back to Admin Tools and deleting the files, no luck.

what I noticed is that the error messages point to images with the prefix "normal_" but my files don't have that prefix. So they can't be found :)
scratching my head over this right now.

any help with this ?

thanks

What prefix do you have then? Post real-lif error messages and real-life links if you want answers.

Hi

My images don't have any prefix at all. they are named just the way I uploaded them.
Now i am not sure, do I have to prefix them myself with "normal_" or should that be done by coppermine when it imports the images into the database.
The way I was doing it so far was to just upload my images into my album via ftp, then import them via the admin menu "Batch add pics".
Whatever coppermine does here, it doesn't add the prefix  it seems to be looking for when I try to delete them again.

To delete I am using admin tools and select the option:
"delete original sized images"
select my album
and click ok.

Here is the message I am getting:
-------------
Deleting originals and replacing them with resized images, please wait..
The file albums/lanight/normal_blur_chevron.jpg was not found
The file albums/lanight/normal_clvr_station_cmp_01.jpg was not found

I have turned off the creation of intermediate pictures on the config page.

thanks for your help

I have turned off the creation of intermediate pictures on the config page.
Maybe you did so after having some intermediate images in your db?

Any particular reason for not doing as I suggested:
