Blank pages after install

I just installed 1.4.16 with a "successful" install.  When directed to the login page it's just a blank white page.  Other .php pages don't work either.  Themes are there... any other thoughts?

If I recall, this may have happened if you did not include the "classic" theme when you uploaded your files.

If you did not, upload that theme folder again

I get the error message

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'jdeters79'@'boscgi0501.eigbox.net' (using password: YES)

when accessing your page. Make sure that you entered the proper mysql access data. Review them by editing include/config.inc.php. When going to that page, I get

500 internal error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

If you can't figure out the details, ask your webhost for support.
