Hi all, I'm after some help and am really hoping that this will be very easy to sort out.

I've recently had my site hacked and in the process they have edited all of my index files with some code.

Anyway, I've sorted it out now and stripped the code.

However, my index.php no longer works, I can access galleries still, but only from saved URL's.  So I wondered if simply re-downloading the gallery and overwriting the current index.php will rectify my problem?

Or is there anyway of getting it back? Can I run a code that will create a new index.php for me with all my galleries etc shown?

Just upload a clean copy from the package.

The version I am using is 1.4.10

Do I need to get an index file from that release? Or can I upload the current release index.php file?

When uploaded as well, will all my galleries etc appear on it as it was before being hacked? Sorry for the newb questions as well, no doubt your sick of questions like these.

Thanks for the reply as well, very much appreciated :)

Do a normal update following the instructions in the manual. Latest version is 1.4.16.
