I have a website where customers always ask me to resize images for them :(

The Coppermine plugin:  Stramm Download resized v1.2 has "inspired" me to attempt modifying this plugin  in order for the customers to be able to specify the image size(s) using sliders (yes sliders!).

-The images can be reduced or increased in size (up to a "reasonable" ~2200px either way.)
-The sliders should not appear on video pages (Download resized v1.2 has this built in.)
-Aspect ratio option should be available
-Automatic "on slider change" pixel to cm to inches conversion via js.
-Dpi option for correct print size (not sure how to do this, but would be nice if set up correctly -only two options 200ppi and 300ppi)
The final solution should look something like this gimp edited screenshot:

[Edit GauGau] Replaced hotlinked image with attachment [/Edit]

I have tried (not too hard) and failed to put these  features into the Download resized v1.2 plugin.
For more inspiration check out http://stainedglasspatterns.org/s/g.html
This was done using Tigra Slider Control from www.softcomplex.com/products/tigra_slider_control/ and imgsize.php from tech.mikelopez.info/2006/03/02/php-image-resize-script/ and works only in firefox.

I like the slider from http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/slider/slider.html and would like to have it used (I tried but brain too small) as you can see @ http://stainedglasspatterns.org/gallery/displayimage.php?album=10&pos=0 it doesn't work (as I only put slider js files in template and  one slider code in the plugin).

Any takers?
Paying cash, check, credit card...
