Hi all,

I'm an IT technician in a school and the previous it tech had coppermine running as our school photostore. When he left none of the other techs knew how to work coppermine so they backed up the photos and deleted it. When i started here i was tasked with setting up a new photostore, so decided to go back to coppermine. I've managed to set it up on our local network with out to many problems. I can up load pictures without any issues. However i was wondering if there is some way of simply importing the old coppermine albums into the new version i have installed. There is over 2000 pics so i don't really want to upload them individualy if i can get away with it.  I'm currently looking into the batch upload but i'm having a few issues with it (i'll keep looking into that myself though, i think thats a permissions issue) but i was just wondering if anyone could offer another solution, is it possible to drop the old albums strait into this new install?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James

sorry for the double post. I've managed to get ftp working now, that should be ok. However if anyone does have any other advise it would be well recieved.

Do a search for CPGMassImport. That's a plugin which can take care of massive uploads automaticly.
