When I try to upload files via XP Publish feature, it says that the upload is succesful, but when I go to my gallery...nothing is uploaded...HELP!!!

Make sure that regular http uploads work in the first place (as suggested in the docs, sections "upload troubleshooting" and "asking for support on upload issues"). Post the needed information. Post as well what browser you used.
