Hello Community,

I have a problem with Captcha v3.0 in connection with Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.18 (stable). Searched the forums and have not found anything regarding this topic.

Installation on local test system (xampp) was successful, after upload to my providers webspace the captcha shows as attached image. All letters are on top of each other - not able to read anything.

Info of phpinfo() regarding GD:

gd
GD Support  enabled
GD Version  2.0 or higher
FreeType Support  enabled
FreeType Linkage  with freetype
GIF Read Support  enabled
GIF Create Support  enabled
JPG Support  enabled
PNG Support  enabled
WBMP Support  enabled

What else could I check?

Thanks in advance for any help,
Ingomar

it is now blank, because i uninstalled the plugin. othwerwise no one could logon/register/comment meanwhile. if you tell me i can install it again for testing purposes.

I can't support things that I can't see, so the question wether you should re-install it doesn't apply - if you want our help, you'll need to provide us with the needed information.

i have to add a fact:

the webserver of my provider is running PHP Version 4.3.11

could that be the problem or is there a walkaround?

Ingomar

For all of you who discover the same problem:

After switching from PHP4 to PHP5 everything works fine!

thanks to all who read my thread and tried to help.
