-Stramm Modpak ver: include/iinit.inc.php and include/picmgmt.inc.php
-Dreamweaver Ftp and Shell
-Verified permisions
-Ran update.php and received blank page
-ixwebhosting
-Have read and read and read.
-Have installed and deleted too many times to remember.
Please clue me in as to what I am doing wrong or omitting . .   .   .

Generally spoken it's a bad idea to use an app like Dreamweaver to upload php files. Use a true ftp client to upload the files (eg. SmartFTP).
