4-I knowtice that when I registered to this forum it had all these other profile information fields like ICQ, IM etc.. and "show when im online" .. how can i do this on coppermine?

by integrating it with a forum (bbs) software like phpbb, YaBB SE, SMF, IBF etc. or by modifying the coppermine core code (including some extra database fields) on your own - no mod available.

Please understand that we're giving support for users who run into trouble setting up or running coppermine here on this boards, but we don't do (un)paid customization, so if you need an additional feature, you can ask politely on the feature requests board (it may be done then if the devs find it usefull for many) or code a hack by yourself (and then maybe post it to share it with others).

That's my test site, where I have my test gallery.  I posted the mod on the board, but it never got taken up.  The download is just a text howto, there are no coppermine files included.

That's what I thought... So you need access to the download repository on the sf.net project page imo... Let's discuss the details on the dev board :wink:
