I recently moved my cpg installation from one ISP to another.  The actual gallery works fine as far as displaying goes.  But when I upload by http, files are uploaded OK but into /images/gallery/albums/userpics/10001.  Then when I try to use batch add files, it goes to look in /images/gallery/albums/uploads.  Then, obviously, it can't find the uploaded files.

I have tried looking under Config as the Admin and also in other files using file manager, but can't find where the http upload folder is set?  Can anyone help me with how to reset the upload destination folder to /images/gallery/albums/uploads?

I have tried to read all the upload help files and trouble-shooting guides, but they seem to be about not being able to upload. Sincere apologies if I have missed the right guide.

TIA

Richard

Thanks for responding.  I will speak to my ISP about getting 1.4.2 upgraded.

Will the upgrade solve this problem, otherwise I am no further forward am I?

You should do the update yourself. It's your job not your host's. The upload issue is not a problem - it is working as designed. Once you have uploaded a file via the HTTP interface you don't need to do anything else with it. HTTP and batch add are just 2 different ways to get pics in the gallery. You use one or the other.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  I'll upgrade soonest.

As to the upload issue, I still have a problem.  I have also tried a straight http upload with a single image.  The upload dialogue says" "1 uploads were successful. Click Continue to add files to albums."

I choose Continue, Select an album and add a file title.  When I hit OK, it says "The previous file could not be placed."  I have done all the basic things like chmod 777 for gallery, images, albums, include, edit, uploads, userpics etc right down to 10001. So not sure where to go from here.

If you think it necessary i will create a test user facility so someone can try an upload too.
