Im trying to add pictures to my gallery. Im logged in as the admin, but i dont see the upload button. I am using version 1.2.1 and have the mac os or ox (whatever you call it) theme going (with slight modification, but only to colors and the header).
I have uploaded pictures before (54 pictures to be exact), so i dont know why this "upload" button has just vanished from my sight :?
I think what i did before was MAYBE click the little "@" symbol next to the little picture of a house and it produced a drop-down in order for me to click "upload" but when i click it nothing happens now.
I tried doing batch upload, but the uploads kept failing even when i changed my permissions to that folder i was uploading to to the max.
I can honestly tell you, that the people i use to do my webhosting, have problems with the software they give me for free "getting corrupted" or "lost".
I noticed when i clicked the "@" symbol, all i saw was a error icon at the bottom of my IE browser and it said "javascript".
Maybe the script it uses to do the function is broken?
If so, how do i go about fixing this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated as it is kind of important i get these new pictures up, thanks!

posting a link to your site and a test user account might be helpful, don't you think  ?

but you do let people visit your site :? ?
Why do you make things complicated? Just post a link to your site if you need support, or do I have to fall on my knees and beg you to let me support you?

 *cracks whip* aight go for the begging thing i like that
but no, seriously, okay, heres what i will do, i will go tweak the gallery so a registered user can create thier own album.
Yes, people visit the site, but the gallery is just up as a placeholder for the tons of photos i have of models wearing my stuff and a few personal ones. The intentions of the gallery arent meant for other people to upload thier own stuff because people go to the gallery to look at the clothes so they know what kind of stuff i make. Since im to busy to type in all the <img src= blah blah> stuff on the site.
anyways:
heres the link

Did you do anything to remove the login / register link from the theme.php.
I tried your site in other themes, and the links appear, so it is theme based problem.  The source code shows the javascript for the mouseover to menu1, but menu1 is not there.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

:?
i THOUGHT all i did was change some colors and pictures....well if it works in other themes i will just upload while in another theme. no biggy since im the only one gonna be doing the uploading
i guess thatll work..itll work, right? it better work :x

Casper

You can of course upload by ftp, and batch upload, which is the recomended way for admins.

It's alright. I just changed the theme and did the uploads then changed it back..... may be a ghetto way of fixing the problem but hey it worked :P
