Mutilple spot upload

I wish there was a way (maybe there is and I don't know it)  to load a layout and have it placed in multiple spots in the gallery - like if you put it in a challenge part of the gallery or in the critique section, but it loads in your personal gallery at the same time - that would be fabulous

I have users gallery where members upload their creations and then I allow them to have their own album, and we have altered items, card etc folders. we are a scrapbooking site. So is this possible?
