aren't coppermine galleries supposed to show previews when you click the thumbnails instead of showing full size? how do i change it

Joachim Müller

Coppermine goes from the thumbnail page to the intermediate image page. That's the default design that can be changed. Post a link to your gallery for a start.

why do you need the gallery link if you know how to stop the full size from showing

biggestanafan

remove the link of the gallery please after you've seen it, scared of hackers  :-X

We don't delete threads, as the overall point of a support board is that threads remain available even after the initial issue has been solved. For the benefit of others with similar issues, you should post instead what you did to solve your issues.

Did as you suggested, but that's not a solution, but a rather silly thing - others love to see their link on a page with a page rank as high as this site. Instead of sitting there and being afraid, you should instead upgrade, as you're running cpg1.4.16, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.18. All versions before cpg1.4.18 contain serious security flaws that are actively being exploited. Upgrading and keeping your gallery is the best thing you can do to prevent being hacked.

it was my friends gallery - that why i was afraid, and yeah it's cool to have it displayers on a site this high page ranked but currently the gallery isn't meant to be open for public so i don't really care.ok as you suggested here's how i solved it:

I went to config - And set the maximum size of intermediate images to 600 so huge pictures didnt open in full size.
