Need a searchfunction in albumcategory

hello
I've got a website with mountainbike-pictures. Every weekend i upload new pics of the past event. I always make a new category in coppermine for the event and then different albums in this category, like, "pics with startnumbers", "pics without startnumbers", "impressions", "start and finishline"
So, i need a searchfunction, which only shows pics from the category the user is in.
Hope you understand me.
