Hey guys from CPG,

know that this thread don't belong here but did not see where else to ask, but the question is when CPG 1.5 will be released with support of phpbb3 bridging.

it's now a few months ago when phpbb came with edition 3 and there is are a lot of people tweaking and hacking into cpg 1.4 versions to get the bridging to work, but for me i don't want to mess around a lot to prefent mij cpg not to work right.

So hope it will come quick :)

There's no scheduled release date for cpg1.5.x.
Moving thread from cpg1.4.x install board.

thanx for moving the thread :)

and thanx for answering my question.
also will there be a support bridge file for phpbb3 in this coppermine edition?

Joachim Müller

There already is a phpbb3 bridge file available for cpg1.4.x, so I'm not sure about your concerns. The only thing I can say is that a phpbb3 bridge files resides in the bridge folder of the subversion repository for cpg1.5.x and that phpbb3 is being featured as supported app in the preliminary docs for cpg1.5.x
This being said, let me put it that way: yes, cpg1.5.x will probably come with phpbb3 bridging support. But don't sue me if this will change.

that would be great :)
haha but no i woun't sue if it turns out not to be in the 1.5.x version of coppermine, most important is that it works perfect when it is released :)
