changing image rating by administrator

Hello. I'm not sure that i'm writing to the right board but...

I have one problem. For example, user put rating for the image by mistake and wants to change it. Is any possibility to do this for him or for the administrator? The only solution I fond is to change the rating in database. The rating that put that user is changing but the avarage rating dosen't recount. How can I solve this and change the avarage rating of the image?
