"Insert new files" returns to Batch page

I just installed a new gallery today and for some reason, I can't get the batch uploading to work. I uploaded the files in a new folder in the "albums" directory and then I went to "batch add files". I chose the directory, the images were loaded and I had them all selected, and I clicked on "Insert New Files". Instead of uploading the files to my gallery, it just takes me back the "batch add files" page where I chose the directory...

I've never had this problem with Coppermine Gallery before so I don't know if I messed something up while installing it or what. Does anyone know what the problem is?
