Basically, I need to redo my coppermine install.

I used to be a photographer who favored quantity over quality. Now I've realized that people don't care about mediocre pictures and only want to see the good ones.

So what I want to do is shuffle through my albums and delete the images that aren't that great.

Unfortunately my web host is pretty slow. And some of the pictures I have in the gallery are very similar, so I'll need to view them in high res to tell which ones are truly better. The only viable option, it seems, is to download the contents of my gallery onto my computer, sort the images locally, and then re-upload everything.

The majority of my gallery's content was added through the FTP batch upload feature. Now here's the problem - if I download the /uploads directory via FTP, then I just get a bunch of folders with assorted images in them. What I want are folders of images for each album.

Example: I have two sets of photos that are in the same album. The two sets were added at different times - they have individual folders in /uploads. I want the contents of the album to be downloaded in a single folder.

But is there an easy way to do this?

Using the search function of this board and typing "album download" would have led you here:

Try that and let us know the outcome.
