Is it possible to get FAQ's for 1.2 ? I noticed 1.3 has them

take a look at the very top of this screen, check the FAQ there - they have been written for cpg1.1.1, but nearly all of them apply to cpg1.2.1 as well.
We will need to change/overhaul the FAQ completely...someday... ;)

You could always write your own.  Have a look at what I've done at my site (see the links to 'caspers tutorials'  in the anycontent)
They don't have everything though.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

User FAQ will be an option in cpg1.3.0...
