I have recently added Coppermine to my site and had started to upload pics to the gallery, I have gotten to a specific point of uploads after what I thought was configuring max settings to allow what I have to upload, but now every time I try to upload I am getting an error...

ERROR:
Error Message
Exceeded filesize permitted by CPG.

what am I doing wrong or what can be done to correct this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Also I am not very savvy with this stuff, so please make it simple for me...thanks!

Use the "Search" facility, that's why it's here. ;)

Error message means: the file you tried to upload exceeds the file size you have specified in coppermine's config as maximum file size. Either upload smaller files (resizing them on the client before uploading) or go to coppermine's config and allow a bigger file size. See http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#admin_picture_thumbnail_max_upload_size
As Fabricio suggested, this has been asked and answered before and is being covered in the docs.

thank you for the assistance....it iseems to be working for me now, I don't know what the problem was...lol

Also, I did try to look around for an answer, but to be honest, this forum is very confusing and difficult for me to find the answers I was looking for.  Hence the reason why I posted this...but again, thank you very much!!

Whenver you have an error given by Coppermine, just search for the exact error it shows and you will have a lot of results. It's not so confusing. ;)

Thanks for coming back and solve the problem.
