Hi,

When I create and upload my thumbnails to ftp they are 70X80, but when I add them to coppermine they seem to shrink?  I've messed with some settings in the thumbnails under the config with no luck.  Any suggestions?

Fabricio Ferrero

Yes, post a link as suggested in board rules.

Your thumbs are 70px × 80px (resized to 70px × 52px).. Go to Admin tools and regenerate your thumbnails.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.  I don't think I'm doing it correct because they still have not changed.  Am I in the correct place, I have attach a screen shot.

Remember to tick also the "Update thumbs and/or resize photos" as detailed in screenshot.

If you're doing the right thing you're going to see Coppermine working for some minutes. If you get the same screen again it's just because you don't make any changes.

Thanks again, but I just can't seem to get it!  :'( ???

Is there a chance I could PM you my gallery log in and you could take a look?

Fabricio Ferrero

No.

1 - Login as admin into your gallery.
2 - Click on Admin Tools.
3 - Check the little circle called "Update thumbnails and/or resized photos (1)"
4 - Check the little circle called "Only Thumbnails".
5 - Go to the bottom of the page.
6 - Select "All albums" in the drop down list. (It should be selected as default)
7 - Click on submit.

If you experience a timeout error during the rebuilding of the thumbnails change the value from 45 to 25 after the step 4.

This is a dummy proof step by step guide to do it ;)

Haha, Thank you!

I did it step by step as you instructed, but for some reason it does not work, and it actually took some of my thumbnails away?  ???

Lol, oh boy to be new at this stuff  :-[
