I am in the process upgrading from 1.4.4 to 1.4.21 however I restyled the classic theme on the old one then gave it a new name and I just wondered if this should still be ok on the latest release, the documentation mentions code changes from 1.3x to 1.4x so I guess I should be ok but wondered if anyone can put my mind at rest before I upgrade.

Thanks

Ian

The theme system is the same for all 1.4.x releases. The only issue would be if there was a bug fix to a theme function or template that you have a copy of in your custom theme. In that case you would not get the benefit of the bug fix.

If you're not sure, why don't you give us the chance to actually help you? Posting a link to your gallery and zipping your custom theme and attaching that to your posting is dead easy, doesn't cost you anything and you will get an actual yes/no answers instead of a "probably no". That's why board rules say that you need to post a link to your gallery in all your support requests. That's why board rules say that you should add attachments. Come on, we have created those rules for particular reasons - we expect people to read those rules and then do as suggested. Having to reply to each and every posting with the standard reply "post a link to your gallery" is so boring for supporters!

OK all worked fine, the upgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.4.21 worked without any issues  :)
