Applied the full upgrade as specified, all files transferred without problems, but when I try to run ..../update.php I get

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@tirpor.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've checked my hosted directories and the update.php file is there.

What else should I check ?

PHP 5.2.8
Apache 2.2.11
My OS is Vista 64

I tried that fix to the init.php file but it made no difference.

I guess he like to know the operating system of the webserver, not your local operating system.

This fix it for me.

I ended up scrubbing the entire Coppermine folder, restoring my backups and then tried the upgrade again. It worked this time.
