Hi,

I'd like to change the theme of my gallery. But everything I do, don't seem to work. I've uploaded different themes, but they don't show up in the list when I try to select them. I've uploaded them to the themefolders wich also contains the other themes. Then I decided to change a theme, so I uploaded new pictures, renamed them in the files, but I see nothing happening, I refreshed, tried serveral pc's, emptied the cookies, nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

I think this is a PEBCAK. Please, do all over again double checking everything.

I can use all themes perfectly fine. Also, the header in the Hardwired theme is not the original, so yes, your are changing the theme.

Hi,

Thanks for trying, what is a PEBCAK?  What you did works for me too. But what I mean is that I would like to make a whole new theme, to fit in with my site, and upload that. But when I upload another team, it doesn't come up in the dropdownfield. Also the header I changed a couple of weeks ago. I tried it again just yesterday, also the background, but it just doesn't work.

From my experience in making mistakes I recommend...
    Things to try
    • Upgrade first!
    • make sure there are no theme related files in your gallery root (template, css)
    • make sure that your new theme directory contains the all of the basic files needed theme.php, template.html, style.css

Thanks, I'm gonna try some things now, I'll let you know how it goes   :)

I misunderstood. So, in that case, read the sticky topic in this same sub-board:

Also, it would help this post

What are the exact step that you're making when you try to upload themes to your theme folders?
