Hi

I have a Coppermine test-installation here:
http://www.datsbix.dk/cpg/

And it is bridged with Joomla 1.5.9

It seems to work fine, except one thing.
When a user have one of the danish letters in the name it is displayed wrong.
Look in the user galleries.

Both Coppermine and Joomla runs utf-8.

Can anyone please give me a hint whats wrong

Thank You

Brian

Coppermine:
Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.21 (stable)

Please ask the author of the bridge you're using. We're not familiar with that bridge file, and none of the devs is using Joomla afaik.

I use the same bridge but have not seen this problem before. Test in unbridged mode and see if the problem remains before contacting the bridge author. If it does come back here with your gallery in stand alone mode and maybe we can help. In bridged mode Joomla takes care of the user names so I doubt the problem will exist in stand alone mode.

Before you do that you need to upgrade your coppermine install. You are currently using 1.4.21 while the latest release is 1.4.24.

While beyond the scope of this board, you should upgrade your Joomla install as it too is out of date.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
